Led a comprehensive enterprise audit and consolidation for a global leader in entertainment workforce management. The initiative focused on unifying a fragmented suite of five core web applications into a single, cohesive user experience.

Originally contracted as a Senior UX Researcher, my role rapidly expanded to lead a company-priority strategic initiative.  The challenge was auditing 137+ pages across payroll, onboarding, and reporting suites to identify which required a full redesign versus a visual "reskin." This required a scalable approach that bridged research rigor with technical design operations. 

I pioneered an AI-leveraged methodology using structured "Pattern Recipes." This enabled AI agents to act as collaborators, generating consistent documentation at scale and future-proofing the company's technical foundation.

Approach:

  1. Systematic Audit: Audited 137+ pages across 5 core products to map UI patterns and component usage. 
  2. Gap Analysis: Compared existing implementations against the Unified Design System to identify 18 critical missing components.
  3. AI-Agent Integration: Designed the "Pattern Recipe Schema v1.0"—a structured framework optimized for AI consumption. 
  4. Workflow Automation: Established protocols where AI parses audit data to identify patterns and generate definitions following the schema. 
  5. Strategic Roadmap: Delivered a 32-week implementation roadmap and executive briefings to secure stakeholder buy-in. 

Solutions & Deliverables:

The primary solution was the creation of a Pattern Library Foundation that filled the gap between individual components and full page layouts. By providing teams with "recipes" for complex patterns (Global Headers, Project Switchers, Breadcrumbs), we ensured consistency across international markets. 

Documentation Schema

Created YAML/JSON schemas for dual audiences: human-readable content that is simultaneously parseable by AI agents.

Tooling Specification

Delivered a 72-page technical specification for a VitePress-based documentation platform and Node.js CLI tools. 

Outcome & Strategic Value:

  1. Efficiency at Scale: Categorized 71% of pages as reskin candidates, saving roughly 1,400+ development hours. 
  2. Operational Impact: Transitioned from a tactical role to leading a high-level initiative, establishing the first pattern-level documentation layer for the enterprise. 
  3. AI Readiness: Future-proofed the design system by creating a documentation model that allows AI to multiply team output without sacrificing quality.
